Understanding “love and Love”

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve written anything, but I’ve been busy recording music and haven’t really had anything to write about.

There has been a great confusion over what love actually is. Is love accepting anyone for who they are? Is love bending over backwards for people? Is love simply having a warm feeling of self-righteousness?

The main point to understand is that there is love, and there is Love. They are completely different and totally opposite, but they get painted in the same light.

Christian love is this: loving the Lord Jesus Christ with all one’s being, and therefore want good to befall your neighbor as much as your own self. It’s a charitable love, brotherly love. Christian love is not sexual, nor selfish. The simplest way I can put it is like this: Christian love is to want to give, to be charitable, and to sacrifice your own self for the well-being of others (i.e. God sacrificing the Lamb, because he loved the world).

The other is Love, and that is a name. I was going to mention how “agape” was the Christian term for love because it was derived from charity, but I read this article and it actually makes a great point for my other argument.

Saul Lieberman, a Rabbi, was talking about agape in the context of an old quote, but had this to say about it: “It seems quite certain to me that גפה דרומי really means agape of Rome, but refers not to some obscure love of Rome, but to the famous goddess – Isis, who was called Agape.”

And suddenly we are talking about a “goddess”.

This unclean spirit, who they call Agape and Isis, is called Ashtoreth. This is the spirit of Love. It is the spirit of sex, lust, desire, rape, deviancy, pornography, jealousy, and pretty much all sexual contexts. This is the same BABYLON the GREAT that makes all the merchants filthy rich. And as we all know sex sells.

This is the great confusion in this world. We see now, especially with the massive liberal movement in the young, an increasing confusion of morality. These people, generally, are rabidly anti-christian, having been denied a chance to find God by the media, music, and school. Peer pressured into a belief system that preaches Love, but is actually hate.

These are the children of a wicked generation. Their parents were not holy, either, having been tempted by the world, not holding their ground or their faith.

This is now: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

This is a generation that hates love, and loves hate. They stand in the guise of holiness, using a twisted definition of love to justify a wicked campaign that has not yet, but absolutely will, result in the end of Christianity.

I beseech you to listen and remember that soon a time is going to come when the abomination of desolation will stand in the holy place. Where wickedness will stand firmly where God used to be. Where all filth and evil and abominations will be hearkened as true holiness. It is the raising up of the church of man and the destruction of the temple of God. These people will no longer tolerate Christians to exist in their world. When the time is revealed, and this action is known (I pray that we all can see it, because it still eludes me what the physical sign may be) I ask that you remember what Christ himself said:

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:15-24).

If anyone tells you that it is absurd to believe these are the end times, remember Noah.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark” (Matthew 24:38).

Even until the day he returns, many, many people are going to think it’s just another day. It’s an easy trap to fall into, to believe the day will never come. I warn you, though, that these are the end of days. This is the final chapter. If we are lucky we might have another ten years, most likely less. I do not claim to know that day or hour, but as with the seasons, we can see the leaves start to change color and fall from the trees. I tell you, and I pray you believe, that it is soon. Sooner that you may want to believe.

May Jesus Christ be with you always, in sorrow and in joy.

Thank you for reading.
